About Joe Bianco, MD

Joe Bianco studied Electrical Engineering at UIUC, graduated with honors, worked as a hardware engineer at Northrop Grumman, and completed medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. He passed USMLE Step 1 on his first attempt.

Joe believes adaptability is the most important skill a tutor can have — everyone learns at a different pace and with a preferred style. He believes standardized testing is a skill that everyone can improve on with the right guidance and time.

In his free time, Joe loves music, guitar, volunteering with Heartbeats (playing live music for pediatric patients), and staying active through volleyball and rock climbing.
