Caleb Shi grew up in Texas and attended Rice University, studying economics and conducting cancer research. He graduated from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and is now an Anesthesiology resident at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT and passed USMLE Step 1 on his first attempt.
Caleb enjoys helping students identify patterns in their thinking, turn weaknesses into strengths, and build the confidence needed to perform on high-stakes exams. He values supporting students not only in reaching academic goals but in developing a sustainable and balanced way of studying.
Outside of medicine, Caleb is a sailor and scuba diver. On land, he enjoys pickleball and traveling to experience new cultures.
