Alexis Saunders pursued a major in neuroscience and graduated summa cum laude in college. She continued at SUNY Upstate Norton College of Medicine, where she scored 240+ on USMLE Step 1 and an exceptional 270+ on USMLE Step 2 CK.
She is an inductee of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and served as president of the Association of Native American Medical Students (ANAMS). She is now an Emergency Medicine resident at SUNY Upstate.
In her leisure time, Alexis likes to spend time with her significant other and pets, playing board games, listening to podcasts, and HIIT workouts on Peloton and OTF.
